General Information :
The wearing of a school uniform is compulsory at Brookby School;
Sports Uniform :
The wearing of a school uniform is compulsory at Brookby School;
- Most uniform items are ordered and purchased through the school office. (Navy Drill Cotton Shorts/Long Pants and Skorts may be purchased from Kmart/The Warehouse/Postie Plus etc as stock may be limited via the school office)
- Year 0 - 6 uniform comprises a jade polo (with school logo) and cotton drill navy skort, shorts or pants, and school ordered navy leggings. (Track pants are not permitted)
- Year 7 and 8 students wear a navy polo (with school logo) and cotton drill navy skort, shorts or pants, and school ordered navy leggings. (Track pants are not permitted)
- To keep warm, all students have either a school polar fleece and/or soft shell jacket.
- Shoes must be black or navy with white, navy or black socks. Navy or black stockings can also be worn (no crocs, slides or gumboots to be worn for safety reasons).
- Long hair should be worn tied up at all times.
- Wearing of jewellery is discouraged for safety reasons. Stud earrings only may be worn if ears are pierced.
- Minimal make up allowed only at Intermediate level.
- All items of school clothing should be clearly labelled.
Sports Uniform :
- Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 students are required to wear the school sports uniform (top and bottom) for sports activities at school and when representing the school at sports events outside the school.
** Please note** (Bike shorts/black shorts/activewear tights and track pants are not permitted as part of the Brookby School Sports Uniform).
